Icyline Wallace Cancer Foundation
The Icyline Wallace Cancer Foundation Was formed in remembrance of Icyline (Ticy). We provide awareness and Support for persons living with breast Cancer.
We strongly believe that early detection and treatment can save lives.
How we Support
We provide cancer survivors with prosthesis, free health checkup, mammograms, assistance with medication, bras and more. We also have monthly meetings with Survivors as well as vising them.
Icyline Wallace fought breast cancer with every breath she had. Ticy as she was affectionately known, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. She had lumps taken out of her breast on several occasions, and then total removal of her left her breast. She was not given any treatment, preventive medicine, chemo, nor radiation. After her diagnosis, she spent days, months and years fighting without ever giving up. She vowed to fight this diseased. Her amazing strenght could always be seen and felt. After a hard fight she passed away on December 30, 2009. I (Valmore) made a promise to keep her memory alive and to help others with the fight to find a cure. Mom - Ticy told me to always keep the faith, knowing that with Christ in the vessel I should smile at the storm. So we fight, we seek, we strive to help with treatments, early screening leading to early detection.
